KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 -- Composer and prolific lyric writer Rosli Khamis or popularly known as Loloq died today four days after he was admitted to the Damansara Specialist Hospital due to a blood clot in his brain.

"Loloq died at 1.37pm at the Damansara Specialist Hospital," singer Hattan, the lyricist's close friend, told Bernama when contacted.

Hattan declined to elaborate further as he was saddened by Loloq's death.

Loloq, 50, was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit in Petaling Jaya at 6am on Sunday, reported to be in a coma and was put on respiratory support.

He underwent an operation to remove the blood clot on Monday. (BERNAMA)
